DVI Extenders

DVI Extenders can extend your digital DVI video signal over long distances across inexpensive Cat5e / Cat6 UTP cable eliminating the need to run bulky cable and bypass the distance restrictions on DVI cable. The DVI-D Extender is still able to retain the clear crisp image with high resolutions that you would get with a directly connected LCD monitor. The lightweight Cat5 DVI Extender consists of a local transmitter unit that sits next to the DVI source and a remote receiver unit that is located with the remote LCD monitor. The SmartVM CAT5 Splitter extender via Cat5/Cat5e/Cat6 cable extends DVI video signals up to 300 ft using regular UTP CAT5/CAT5e/CAT6 cable. This Cat5 DVI splitter extender consists of two units. The local unit 2,4 or 8 ports connects to your local PC and allows you to connect a local DVI monitor next to the PC, and the remote receiver unit connects to each of the remote DVI monitors. DVI over Cat5e/Cat6 Splitter extender via Cat5e cable is the ideal solution for applications to display the same image on multiple remote locations.

CAT5 DVI Extender is great for applications in call centers, airports, restaurants, hospitals, digital signage solutions, military, and commercial environments. The DVI Extender is available in many flavors including DVI Fiber Optic Extender and DVI Dual Link Fiber Optic Extender in addition to DVI Fiber Optic Cables in varying lengths.
